Did you notice the button for SP3 on the right? I’ve never been a SP before mainly because I hear about them when people “say lookie what I got!” but this time Emma mentioned the sign up for the 3rd on her blog and I got myself signed up. I am supposed to answer some questions so here they are:
1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer high-end/natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you? Yes I think wool is supreme and should be in all yarns. To make myself even more difficult-I avoid yarns heavier than DK weight
2. Do you spin? Crochet? I do spin a teensy bit
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.) Allergic to cats and angora makes me break out in hives
4. How long have you been knitting? all told off and on for 30 years
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? nope but I can make one if you ask
6. What’s your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.) carnation
7. Do you have a sweet tooth? as the multiple slices of choc cheesecake downed with several cans of coke entry will tell you a big ol resounding yes
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? I live., breathe and eat knitting. Knitting is life.
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if you want to make her a CD) I am computer illiterate and would have no clue how to play music on it.
10. What’s your favorite color? Or–do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? I like cool colors[blue green purple blue violet] and jewel tones or blackened tones
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? married 3 kids no pets
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know) I am living my life dreams–namely to have a little house and a little girl. House came this summer and only need to create a garden[seeds are welcome!]
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?laceweight to fingering yarns
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? Haven’t actually met a fiber I won’t knit with but I am prejudiced–see #1

17. What are you knitting right now? lace for me and a tunic for work

19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? only strait needles I own have points on both ends
20. How did you learn to knit? Celia[my mums best friend] taught me on a car trip
21. How old is your oldest UFO? hmmm when did I start that shawl? 3 weeks?
